FILM SYNOPSIS

A lonely lavatory attendant finds a bouquet of flowers in her tip jar.

Notice the film synopsis… actually it is the premise of the short film.  If you deconstruct the premise;

subject A lonely lavatory attendant
action  : finds a bouquet of flowers in her tip jar.

The subject is the problem and the solution is the action.  The subject pertains to the situation of the attendant.  The title itself qualifies the word lonely that relates to her romantic situation.  The solution, as provided by the action, is the bouquet of flowers in her tip jar.  The flowers provides the possibility of a romance.  The tip jar which is solely for money represents regularity in her loneliness. Thus, when the flowers are injected in the situation, the regularity disappears.  Which makes the situation romantically unpredictable. Of course, the mystery increases the anticipation which is a vital element for any romance as a genre and a love plot as a structure.
